HMBLL League Rules and Standard Procedures
Here are the standard procedures and some key playing rules that apply to every division.

Division Specific Rules
AAA
AAA ball is a division with an emphasis on player skill development and understanding game strategy. Play will be coach pitch, progressing to player pitch for the final three games of the season. Teams practice one to two times a week during pre-season, and during the season there is usually one practice and one game per week (approx. 10 game season). The age range for AAA is 7 to 9 years old. There will be a postseason double-elimination tournament for all teams.

Minors
The Minors division is a competitive player pitch league. Standings are kept. Teams practice twice a week during pre-season and during the regular season there is usually one practice a week and 2 games (approx. 18 game season). The age range for Minors is from 9 to 11 years old, and placement is dependent upon tryouts and the draft. There will be a postseason double-elimination tournament for the all teams to determine the season champion.

Majors
The Majors division is the most competitive league. Players pitch and standings are kept. Once a player is placed on a Majors team, he or she will remain on the same team for the duration of their Little League Baseball career. Teams will practice 2-3 times a week during the preseason. During the season, teams practice once or twice a week and play 2 games a week (20 game season). The age range for Majors is 10 to 12 years old, and placement is dependent upon tryouts and the draft. There will be a postseason double-elimination tournament to determine the season champion.

Juniors
The Juniors division is a competitive league. Play is on a full-size baseball diamond (90 ft. bases). League play involves travel within District 52 boundaries. The age range is 13 to 15 years old. Teams will practice 2-3 times a week during the preseason. During the season, teams practice once or twice a week and play 2 games a week (20 game season).

Following up on the ground breaking first season in which a mandatory pitch count was used in all baseball divisions of Little League, the rules and regulations for 2008 have been refined.
