2021 Spring Registration Update
Hello HMB Little League Families,
We wanted to send an update to our earlier registration notice about the upcoming HMBLL spring season. Outlined below are the some important details about our plans for resuming Little League baseball on the Coastside. More information is available on our website where you can also register: www.hmbbaseball.org
Format for Spring 2021:
We'll start out with a “Spring Training” Format that will consist of stable groups of players for practices only. As the pandemic situation hopefully improves and restrictions loosen, we'll have a plan in place to return to full competition with the approval of the state, county and the city. Our current safety plan is listed on www.hmbbaseball.org
Calendar:
Our tentative start date is 3/1 and the season will run approximately 10 weeks. Practices will be at least two times a week (may vary by age).
Cost:
T-Ball & Coach Pitch T-Ball divisions: $100 EARLY BIRD BEFORE 1/25 ($110 after 1/25).
AAA, Minors, Majors & Juniors divisions: $125 EARLY BIRD BEFORE 1/25 ($135 after 1/25).
We will not be requiring payment until we are closer to the beginning of the season (Spring Training practices). For now everyone goes on the wait list and we'll notify everyone when we start collecting money since we'll need full payment before any players can be on the field.
Early Bird Raffle for Chance to Win a Birdman Bat:
In addition to the discount for registering on the wait list by 1/25, each player will be entered into a drawing for their own custom bat made by the famous Birdman Bats, maker of bats for big league players including SF Giants Hunter Pence & Austin Slater. Both the discounted fees and entrance in the drawing also apply to those players that have already registered.
As in previous seasons, HMBLL has set aside a scholarship fund. You may find the request form on the website.
Uniforms:
Every player will receive a HMBLL hat and mask as part of their registration. Players will also have the option of purchasing a numbered jersey at an additional cost, however that is not required during the “Spring Training” phase of the season.
Professional Coaching:
This season we’ll be providing some outside professional coaching sessions for AAA, Minors, Majors and Juniors players and coaches. Details to follow.
Our aim is to provide an opportunity for the kids to get out of the house and be outdoors on the fields where they can exercise and have some social interaction in a controlled and safe environment that adheres to health orders and recommendations. We'll start with practices and try to make them fun and competitive within and hopefully be able to move into a more regular season soon. We’ll continue to provide updates as things evolve.
Thank you for your patience and continued support. If you have any questions about registration, please contact Bob Baer at

.
Regards,
HMBLL Board
