To promote consistency and transparency, the following describes our approach for a player who is interested in playing in a division different than their little league age assigned division.
If you would like to REQUEST YOUR CHILD PLAY IN A DIVISION EITHER HIGHER OR LOWER THAN HIS LITTLE LEAGUE AGE ASSIGNED DIVISION, please fill out the waiver form and email it to the player agent at the address below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. There is no guarantee a player will play at a different level.
2. Players requesting to play up are subject to Little League International and HMBLL local rules governing limits and restrictions on ages and/or the number of specific age groups that may move to a higher division along with any other restrictions including pitching, field positioning, playing time, etc.
3. For Spring leagues, the player will be required to participate in skills assessments for BOTH the age assigned division AND the requesting division (whether higher or lower). Failure to participate in both will likely result in failure to qualify for placement in a non-default division and the player will not be allowed to move up/down.
4. Decisions to place a player into a division are based on skill evaluation and include factors such as safety of the requesting player, others players and other personnel, prior experience in little league and other baseball programs, previous manager/coach input & recommendations, Little League Baseball qualities including citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being, baseball knowledge, competition level, impact on other players, coaches & officials, player maturity level and other considerations deemed appropriate to an accurate placement.
5. For Spring leagues, no adult may accept a coaching or any other staffing position on a non-default team until the draft is completed.
6. For Springs leagues, players are not assured any position in a non-standard division until a draft is completed and approved. If the player is not selected (or otherwise restricted from being selected) in the draft, then the player shall return to the normal selection process in their regular age default division.
7. Final approval is determined by the Player Agent and/or League President and/or their designee and is subject to all considerations pertinent to HMBLL. Any decision by the League President is final.
